In the United States, drinking alcohol is legal. As is being drunk.

DRUNKEN looks at the behaviour of the intoxicated and finds a continuing American fascination with -and denigration of - the impairments of drunkenness. People have been laughing at, and looking past, the behavior of drinkers for a long time.
